Mikey is right... It depends on what type of haze you have and whether you started with a Plexus coat on to begin with. If you had Plexus on before, then more Plexus will help. If you have hazing on an unprotected window, then all the plexus in the world will not help (though mechanical abrasion from the cloth will).

s2ktaxi and Mikey are both on the money. My car has had Plexus on right from the start. I would certainly use something similiar to the Meguiar's scratch remover if Plexus didn't help the situation. Meguiar's products are first rate and I use several of them.

BTW, I read the label on the Stoner's Invisible Glass cleaner and it specifically states not to use it on polycarbonate plastic.

Hmm, I just checked the label and indeed it states not to use on polycarbonate plastic. ( I wonder how I missed that when I was reading the label ) I'm glad I posted this as you guys cought me before I royaly screw up my window. I'll let you know how the window holds up, but I'll switch to something else in the mean time.

I also use the Meguiar's products. I use Meguiar's to get the scratches out, and use Plexus for everyday maintenance and upkeep. The Meguiar's #18 is similar to Plexus, except it doesn't foam up like Plexus does.

I have been using Scratch Out on my rear plastic window, and it makes the plastic transparent, and removes some of the scratch, not all, but the little ones.

All this info is great -- but my rear window is past hope, I'm afraid.
(That's what 2 years of use and minimal cleaning will do.)

Does anyone know if I can replace just the plastic panel, and how much it is?
I've been searching the forums and some online parts dealers and haven't found it.

Also, it seems like there's no way to retrofit the 2002 top to a 2000 model -- is that right?
