But it wasnt with a car, it was with a damm hammer. It was parked in miami dade community college in the end of it so it would be less likely somebody will dent the car, and some guy on the other side of the street, went out of his car, hit the car 3 times on the side of the drivers door and left. A witness got his tag number and a description but the tag looks to be stolen because it didnt register to the car he was driving.. A silver Kia, dont know what model. Ill know when i get the police report. Not sure how much the damage is going to be. It hit only the door but pretty deep. It looks like i have 2 bullet shots on the bottom part of the door. I dont want to go through my insurance because one its a 500 dollar deductible and two it will raise my insurance. Im hoping this will be less than 700 dollars but im guessing they would have to repaint the door and hopefully a new door wouldnt be needed.. HOw much is a new door anyways. Thanks

Not sure about the S2000, but a family memeber had a door panel replaced due to dent damage to extensive to fix, rather than a whole door. Not sure how much it cost for the part though.

yea either they are jealous or you must of pissed them off somehow.......I try to avoid taking my car to college parking spots and try to make friends with everyone if possible..........

 

i doubt envy causes someone to hit a car with a hammer. Either you did piss someone off or its a case of mistaken identity. Still doesn't excuse such an a-hole move. "you just don't touch another man's automobile."

 

From what i know, i havent pissed anyone off.. I also overheard when they were doing the police report that two days ago another similar situation was reported at the school Which had the same license plate as the one who screwed up mines. So mabey he is doing this crap for the hell of it. The car i heard hit was a landrover.

 

This further proves that the world is full of morons. Did the guy who did the damage see that there were witnesses?

Yes they saw the witness.. Im not sure if thats why I only got two hits.. but with a stolen licence on the car, it would be hard to find the person. They said that the witness who saw everything would be able to identify the person in a line up. I would have thought he would have gone for the top, but luckly that didnt get damaged.
