If anybody could host some pics for me ill send pics later on tonight of the damage. Mabey some of you can recommend what to do. Some body shops said i should replace the skin while some said they could just fix it and put some bondo and match the color.

Sorry to hear of the damage to your car. From your description, it didn't sound like the perpetrator is an "idiot", more likely a mentally unstable person. You should be careful not to park your car at the same spot again or the crazy guy may just come back and do it again. Good luck.

vandalism won't raise your insurance rates, so if its well over $500, claim it. Also, some companies have a lower deductible for vandalism, so your deductible may actually only be $250.

Some people are just evil, or cracked. This guy was off his rocker. I'm so sorry about the horrendous experience. Hang in there.

Wow, that's nuts. If it was a crime, I don't see why your insurance would go up. Just pay the $500 deductable.

My girlfriend's neighbor backed into my passenger side door not too long ago. Dent was about 6" by 12" but not deep at all. Cost about $950 to fix (not replace), though the bulk of that was the repaint.

What a @^*@#* idiot
You don't mess with people's property period. If I witnessed what happened, I'd certainly have something to say...with a baseball bat (only cos he has a hammer)

Anyway, sorri to hear about your predicament...it sucks that we have to put up with morons like that in this day and age...

parking in the end might attract the wrong attention. i never do , and never take more than one space or pack diagonally.
maybe the dent guy's can work it out. worth a try

It wont be too bad. You just need to replace the door skin, not the whole door.
