Hi Speedr,
My bet is that it was probably some pissed off guy who's stuck driving a beat up mini-van w/ a bunch of curtain climbers. He was definitely jealous of you & the fun you were having.

Personally, I haven't had anything like that happen down here in Ft. Lauderdale, but I guess there's a first time for everything!

I hope you Vtec-ed outta there & left him in your dust!

I had a similar thing happen to me once in my previous VW. Didn't do anything except be there in the car, and this guy gives me the big finger. I suspect it is something to do with German/Japanese marques. You got flipped on Dec 6th, this weekend (remember Dec 7th, 1941) is not the weekend to be touting your expensive Japanese product.

Yes,

I've been fliped off and it blows my mind! people are mostly nice but there are some assholes in the world. I also drive a Jeep and a Tundra, I've never been flipped off while driving those cars!

Also, people want to gun their stupid cars as fast as they can off the line at red lights like I could give a f**k when I'm driving the S. Never happens in the Jeep or Tundra.

This is my first sports car, I love it but I had know idea about the whole street car subculture and all the bullshit!

Don't get me wrong, I dont give a crap it's just been an interesting experience.

Yeah, the same thing happened to me last year, about a month after I bought the S
.....well not me but my 11 year old nephew that was in the passenger seat. All he did was look at this guy that was in the lane next to us and smile.....that's it. Got flipped the bird for no reason. I know that it had to do with the car...and not the smile.

I was pissed too that a grown man would flip off a little kid...just poor taste if you ask me.
