Bought it on Oct 2nd and it's already been vandalized.




Idk wtf the person(s) used, but the 2nd scratch actually shows the blue paint beneath the black coating.
This happened 2 days ago, but I just haven't had time to upload the pics. Since then, I've just driven the Z to work.

My car was parked in an area where I just have to turn my head and I can see it.

^^^That's where it was parked. I saw the scratches, took pics, took the pic I just posted to show that I'm inside my workplace and can see my car from outside, and then when customers left, I moved the car to another area where I can turn around to see it.


^^^Where the Highlander is parked is where I parked my CR afterward. It gives me a better angle to keep an eye on its front, but now the passenger side is blocked from view in case a car parks in the handicap space you see in front of my job.

Well, anyway, I know this thread doesn't provide much info. I just wanted to share these pics. You don't know how angry I was when I first saw it. I asked the security guard on duty if he saw anyone come near my car, but there are always so many people gravitating towards it throughout the day that he wasn't sure who must've keyed it.

 

Sorry to hear. Why cant people leave other peoples stuff alone. Karma on them.

 

Vandalizer needs to get a life, they have nothing better to do then keying other ppl cars. I've had my s2k keyed from front fender to back fender, so I know how you feel. Do what I do know, I hit my alarm panic buttom when anyone gets near, I don't care who it is, I've hit it even when little kids approach my car, I've hit even if no ones near by just to let ppl know that I'm keeping a eye on my personal property. Good luck with the repairs/repaint

 

You sure it was keyed and not just someone with maybe a briefcase? or something with a zipper hanging out and rubbed across your car trying to get to theirs? because I have seen keyed cars before and they are horrible. either way man, that really stinks.

 

Sorry this happened. If it makes you feel any better, my 1991 Miata has been shot four times, breaking a window and putting three big dings in the paint.

I had a rock hit my window tape on my laguna and it looked like that. That doesn't look like someone keyed it man. You can probably buff out the first one. Getting apex touch up paint took a while to get in for my dealer fyi. Good Luck!

that sucks.. Doesnt look vandalized though - if it was they couldve hit a much less obvious (when keying) area and a much larger spot. Looks like a rock hit you..

Solution: take off the window tape!

it looks muuuuuuuch better imo

 

I feel for ya but at least it seems the only ral damage was to the windshield sticker
