A supercharger is a popular option because it gets you a lot of horsepower for not so much money. I say you should get the parts you ordered now, then get a supercharger down the road. The V-AFC is made by APEX'i and I think there was a group buy for $285. I was quoted at $600 for install and tuning for a V-AFC, but as you see in the dyno sheet above, it does provide gains. I think a V-AFC is a good idea because when you get a supercharger, you'll want one to extract more HP.
To make this a 12-second car, I'd recommend a turbo, but it is possible to do it with a S/C car. You'd have to get a higher boost pulley, your header and exhaust, V-AFC, 4.44 or 4.77 rear gear, clutch, and you'll probably want a Comptech reinforced differential. Plus you'll probably want to lose some weight(take spare out). This might get you a 12.9, but it'd be a 12-sec car.

Usually shops will charge between $75 and $175 per hour to tune the vafc on the dyno. Should take about 2 hours (maybe a little more). The insall you can do yourself (w/ or w/ out the harness). Good luck

thanks alot for the input guys. I guess i will jus get the exhaust and header for now. I made a list of stuff i wanna get so everytime i get something, im going to cross it out. Im jus doin alittle bit at a time because im planning on keepin the car. Some of the things on my list are nitrous, the 4.77 gears, the V-AFC, new clutch and flywheel setup, new camshafts as well. oh yeah, cant forget the supercharger either...or i might jus one day sell the toda header and get a turbo, but it will be cool havin a supercharged car and havin a nice header on it too like the toda.
