I have no experience with the software, so take my opinion for what it's worth.

Let's give the s/w the benefit of the doubt and assume it simulates the fluid, mechanical and fluid dynamics close enough to be useful. Where things get sticky, is where do the simulation models of all the different components come from? Somehow I doubt you can just select X brand intake, Y header, Z camshaft etc. and get the simulated dyno plot. That's a lot of work to characterize all these different components, not to mention any new products, not to mention all the different car manufacturers. I'm guessing it might have some common OEM models, but any other part would have to be characterized by the user. So if you have your own flow bench and all the mechanical measuring tools, it would be useful, but for a typical non-engine builder type, not so much. It should be able to give you an idea what happens with basic engine changes like compression ratio, displacement, etc., though.

Basic s/w principle "garbage in, garbage out".

Yeah, it seemed a little "fantastic" to me too... but some simulaters are worth while.... thats why I was wondering if anyone had any experience...

Thanks for your thoughtful response...

Anyone else wanna add 2 cents?
