Recommended differential fluid
Rather not search through 1,208 pages, so I figured I'd just ask
Coming up on 45k miles, recommended time to change the differential fluid. Is there a favorable brand and/or type?
Also recommended transmission fluid...my tranny is kinda notchy, not smooth like another 2001 S2000 I drove a while back. Royal Purple has been my personal favorite, but, again, is there a favorable brand/type?

This is the most comprehensive guide about oil I've seen.

I read through a lot of that a couple weeks ago.
Short version: When I did my diff yesterday I filled it with LE-607 from www.ricks2k.com . If you want something locally or are in an area with very cold winters grab Mobil 1 Synthetic 75/90 diff fluid for about $10. You will need only 1 bottle of either. We were VERY impressed with the thickness and lubricativity of LE-607.
Also changed Tranny fluid with GM Synchromesh Friction Modified from a local Chevy dealer - P/N 12377916. You will need 2 bottles. Search for more opinions on this one but it removed my notchy shifting for the most part.
Good Luck! Lots of good DIY's for this stuff.
