Sort of an odd question...

Default Sort of an odd question...

So I recently came across a thread that showed one of the member's here taking an old Toyota Celica and putting the engine from an (I believe it was an Ap1) S2k.

This got me wondering if you could put the 2.2 or 2.4L engine from an S2k into...something a bit more out of the ordinary then a Celica.
And that something would be one of these:
It's a Toyota Previa.
My dad used to own one before he traded it in for a '09 Yaris.
But the Previa comes with a 2.4L engine, it has a mid-engine rear wheel drive layout, and apparently during the years it was popular a lot of people complained that it had a lack of power.

Yes it's a totally bonkers idea, but I got the idea from a thread here and since my dad had one. XD
So, if it could work then that might be a future BSing around task for me to do, as I always thought it would be cool to take an old Previa and put some modern touches to it.
(That will be way after I get my S though, which i'm saving up for btw. I want to be sure I can afford to buy/maintain an S before I do anything else, the S is #1 on the list. So this is mostly just an idea, it might never even happen, I just wondered if it could happen. )

Thoughts?

Thank you for your enlightening post.
That must have taken you hours to come up with that response.

Anything is possible with enough time and/or money.

The real question is, is it a total waste of resources?

And the real answer is, YES!

First thought:

Second thought:
Curb weight: 3755+ lbs.

Third thought:
Feel free to spend your time and money on whatever you want.
But you won't get any respect for it, I suspect.
And you won't wind up with anything fun to drive either, I'd bet.
