From what I heard, it won't be out until next year.

It is available for the Odyssey and was supposed to be available for the Accord and the S2000. I think that Honda ran into installation/mounting problems and has delayed the introduction.

It was suppsoed to be a "Kelton powered subwoofer" with 80 watts (not rms) to go under the passenger seat. MSRP $300 plus installation.

No one has seen it, but someone might have heard a similar one in an Odyssey. I am not aware of any reports here.

I've seen pics of it. DOn't know how good it is, but I heard that it installs in the spare tire section.

I almost got it but decided against it at the last minute. The dealer said it goes under the passenger seat.

I decided that since the regular speakers are junk, how good can the sub-woofer be. If you are going to spend that kind of money, get a good one from a good car stereo store.

I replace the Honda speakers with POLK EX602a speakers. Fit right in the hole the old speakers came out of.

Now, if the stero is at full blast, can't hear the engine even at high revs. It's fantastic now, and I still didn't get the sub-woofer. Glad I didn't.

IMO, I would skip it and put your money elsewhere or go to the car stero store and buy one if you really have to have one.

FYI...The new Acura RSX has a Bose spare tire subwoofer, there is a pic in the June issue of Car and Driver. Not sure if it will fit the S2000, have to wait a measure once those cars are available.
