sound system
First off, it is a noisy convertible so an awesome sound system is not a priority for Honda. I just put a set of Polk Audio db6500 components in the doors and it made a huge difference for just $100, plus a little extra for some wires and stuff. I am planning to get a Kenwood HU, iPod and Sirius radio parts. Also, this may sound crazy, but my new speakers sound better with the top down. I have a friend at work GamecockS2k over in the Carolinas forum, who has components in the doors, small speakers behind the seats, and 2 subs (one in trunk and one in the passengers footwell). All these speakers are amped and it sounds great.
well I've heard worse from a stock audio system.....but not much!!!!
Trust me, sound QUALITY is even more important in a convertible. Get sub, New HU and appropriate speakers. I have a 10" jl stealth sub, Jl audio speakers, alpine hu and amps. It sounds great, even while moving!!!

Check out the electronics forum (You can click on the Electronics Junkie badge in my signature to get there.)
The stock system has gotten progressively better throught the years. The '06 with the built in roll-hoop speakers will probably be decent, but not really even good. The '04-'05 systems are almost liveable
The '02-'03 systems are bad
the '00-'01 systems are completely worthless.
Go aftermarket.
