i had to share this since the stock sound system gets such bad reviews on this board-
my sound system is still stock except for lucid's rear speakers...
last night on the way home i had the sound turned up so much that i couldnt hear the sound system coming out of the tail pipes!! this never happened without the rear speakers! they make an incredible difference...
i actually had to turn the sound down so i could hear my VTEC!!!

(i did notice today that the stock system is not loud enough at speeds about 110 or so)

 

Haha, I do that too. BUT, a stereo isn't judged simply on the decibels, but more on the range of frequency, and just plain ergonomics of a car stereo system. I stillhave to move my left leg to get some sound out of the speaker!!!

 

have you got lucid's rear speakers? if not, you wont believe the difference. (since the sound comes from the rear, the leg problem is gone). i also turn the treble and bass up almost to full. i know its not the best sound available, but i am more interested in the sound coming from the rear of the car most of the time... someday i might get tired of that sound and want cleaner crisper sound in the cabin-
