I wanna find gears with a smaller number then 4.10 example 3.9


anyone know where I can aquire these?

Unless you were boosted and actually needed longer gears, your car would be slower with * > 4.10.

Sometimes switching in the middle of a corner is tough..I was just going to see if there was a cheap solution like the whole kia gear thing, and give it a try.

He does have a point........it depends on the track....certain tracks might benefit from a very slighly taller gear ratio....however, unless you are using it on that one track, and one track only, its a bad idea.

Well, aside from being i vetc longer in each gerar, which I also find of doubtfull value, it would mean a higher top speed (assuming something is done to boost powerlevel above stock) and lower cruise RPM on the highway.
Now, I have not heard anything about such gears for the stock rear end, but perhaps it would be available for replacement ones (diff-tech?)?

It does make sense for someone who uses the car as a DD n is often on freeways. He might not care much about real performance and more about practicality of the drive (not the car : duh).
