Seems a little pointless, but I've just tinted the stock wind deflector. (It was free so that never hurts.)

Point is, I'm just amazed how much better my S looks with this very minor mod. (I've installed the darkest grade BTW.)

 

Not silly. I bought Rick's 7/8th height screen in a tint and it looks GREAT.

Mingster also sells a tinted cersion of his wind deflector.

 

I did mine early in the piece but unfortunately the tint, which was professionally applied, didn't stay in place very well on the lexan. It got small bubbles under it and lifted slightly on the edges.

A properly tinted screen is the way to go.

Anyone know the specs on the 7/8 height wind deflector?? I have a friend that may make me one out of Lexan...

 

What does the wind deflector do? I took mine off and i drove with the top down and i didn't notice any differnece. Maybe a little more windy?
