Default Spa Yellow s2k???

Im in kind of a bad situation. I have always like the color yellow on the s2k. I am about to buy one in the very near future. My color choice was between black and red at first mainly because my step dad does not like yellow cars. Well I found a great deal on a 02 yellow s2k in the area. It has 13k miles, perfect condition, and the price is now at $20,300. I want to get the car but my step dad always cracks jokes on having a yellow car and stuff and it doesnt bother me at the time but when I think about it, it puts some doubts in my head. I know I shouldnt care what anyone else thinks but I cant help to have some doubts. What are you guys thoughts about a yellow s2k. Does the color get old after a while. Really is there anything I need to know. I am actually planning on going this weekend to purchase the car if everything goes good at the bank. Thanks in advance,

its a personal choice...
i like black, but i also like to detail cars!!
yellow would be easier to care for- and it is a cool color.
i guess it depends on who is paying for it!
if its you, and you like yellow- go for it!

Like everyone has been saying, choose the color that you like. I own a Spa and can't get enough of it. Never gets old. But then again...you can't really go wrong with any of the available colors! Here's a link to some pics of my car:

Thanks for the positive comments and pics guys. I guess I just need a little reassurance sometimes. If everything works out good, I will probably be going to get the car friday.

Spa Yellow looks great on the s2k Even though I love the color on mine, I still shake my head at some of the cars that come in yellow.

Automakers please take note, sports cars (like the s2000) look great in Yellow...cavaliers, neons, etc do NOT. I think this is why some people (like your dad) make fun of yellow cars.

Your step-dad is a wise and wonderful person, especially if he is paying for the car. If so, he gets to choose.

At all costs, avoid yellow S2000 cars. They are all lemons. At the Honda factory, no cars are painted yellow initially. Most cars are well made and receive a silverstone treatment. Some with minor flaws are chosen for black or red paint.

When a really bad blue Friday car sneaks through, that is a lemon and that gets the yellow treatment. Never buy a yellow S2000.

Also, check the Kelly Blue Book prices. The yellow cars always bring less on the used market. That is just because they tend to be lemons.

DO NOT buy the color you want. Never do that. Take a poll on this board and only buy the one that comes out tops in the poll. You'll never be disappointed.

For a really zen experience, banish color preference from your mind. Buy what I like.
