I was driving in from work tonight and saw a yellow with paper plates "01 2001" on 71/William Cannon. I was in the red VTEC del Sol...did you see me? It was my first yellow sighting but it was too dark to appreciate the gorgeous color (mine's Silver).

Something I noticed about the 2001 model is that the front parking lamp, when not blinking, is only lit at the bottom. I don't think my 2000 is like this (although nobody else has ever driven it so I've not seen it in my rearview mirror).

Something else funny happened tonight...I was acclerating away from HEB at 2244 & 71 when, at about 75 mph I reached for 6th gear. Oops, no 6th in a del Sol, but that got me up in VTEC range and I thought, "well, this is fun let's have more". Sometimes I've done this in the 5th to 6th shift in my S2000 and accidentally got 4th. What fun VTEC (the 8,200 redline one or the 9,000 one redline model) is!

Saw the yellow on a showroom floor. My impression.....it is really yellow. Silver and Red remain my favorites, though blue would probably be up there too.

mmmmm yellow, cool but not for me, just cant get used to all that yellow, mirrors and hood edges were distracting when I drove one. Also, the nature of the yellow paint was dissapointing to me, almost looked like a kid painted it with a spray can, I am mostly reffering to the orange peel standing out. My silver metallic hides it well.

THE YELLOW ONE GOING 620-71-WILLIAM CANNON ON WEDNESDAY EVENING WAS ME.

I love this car. this is the first time I have posted since I picked her up on Saturday mainly because I have been driving so much. I picked her up on Saturday, and was vtecing (had over 600 miles) by late Monday night. I had high expectations for this car from all of the reading I have done, but all of my expectations were met or exceded. Kevin I do remember seeing a red DelSol, if I recall I was behind you on 290, and we turned onto william cannon together. cool

Yes, There is a new one in town. Got it last week and already have 500+ miles...less than 100 to V-Tec and pure driving pleasure. This is my first time owning a convertible and I love it! I feel so fortunate to live in a great climate where this car can be enjoyed all year long (not to make your Northerners feel bad).
