Default Space for 4 wheels in the S2000

Not sure if this is covered before.

I have a delima. I'm trying to make it to the tracks this weekend and have a lot of things to do. So I need to get this sorted out today.

Anyways, how do you guys manage to fit 4 wheels in the S2000? I need to bring 4 wheels to a shop to get some shaved RA1 mounted. Then bring the 4 wheels with tires on it back home. It's about 30 miles drive each way. I don't want to drive back and forth either as that is very time consuming.

I can use another car, but it will have to be on the weekend, that would mean I would have to miss the track event.

Anybody?

you could, take out your spare tire.. probably fir 2-3 in there and/or take your passenger seat and put them there.. rent a truck or car or something.

i need to bring my car there too. so i can get my fenders rolled if needed. so that eliminates renting a car/truck.

i don't have a spare in my car. you just can't jam a wheel in that space with tires.

I've done this several times. One fits easily in the trunk (take out the false bottom). Stack the other 3 on the passenger seat (with the top down).

No problem

You can get the same number of tires WITH rims attached since the rims are in the middle of the tires and won't take up any extra space that the tires alone didn't take up.
I've gotten 3 tires on the passenger seat (2 vertical, side by side and the 3rd on top of the 2) with my hardtop on. The soft top should have slightly more headroom.

man, i couldn't do it. i had to make multiple trips.

i could only fit 1 in the trunk, you might be able to get 2 with the seat in, but i couldn't get 3 in there, i wasn't risky enough to even try.

i heard if you remove the passenger seat you can stack 3 up, can someone confirm?

HommedeAil, how did u balance the wheels as i imagine they will be stacked up pretty high, i'd be scared of it flying out, or low visibility.

I hope you guys are driving carefully when you have three wheels in the passenger seat of your car. If you have an accident one of those things is going to bash your skull to little pieces.

I've put 3 in the passenger seat as well, but I tied down the one on top. Also be sure to put the rear tire in the trunk as that one is wider. Then you can fit the front 2 side by side. But I just had tires, so the weight wasn't there, I don't know if you'll ruin your seat.

Eghads, not my car....Ouch. I applaud you for being able to do it, but I just couldn't dream of putting wheels or tires in my car. I hated putting the single wheel in the trunk when I had to drive home on a doughnut.

I use the wife's Protege5 for any transport.
