Worried stateside S2K owners, you can finally rest easy on this damned spark plug issue!!

There's a new service bulletin from AHM, which is dated July 10th. TSB 02-042. Applies to all 2000-2001, and 2002 from #0026 to #6983. This TSB involves a simple spark plug replacement, where new spark plugs will be tightened to 18 lb-ft. This is free of charge.

Remember, it's dated July 10th, so probably no dealer knows about this just yet.

If it's dated July 10th and the dealers don't know about it, how do you know about it?

Thanks for "pre-notice" notice. I see they have raised the torque by 5 lb-ft from the original 13 lb-ft. Are they tossing in new plugs for goodwill?

Interesting that that's what the plug manufacturer has always recommended for this plug.

Are the new plugs any different then the old plugs? Or are they identical.
