I bought a 2000 Honda S2000 Berlina Black about a month ago and just took out the title today. On the cover someone wrote " cuv #5191 of 6000" so that got me thinkin that this car is number 5191 out of 6000 (something) made. What would make it special? The vin number ends with 005191 so is this like the 5191st S2000 to be made? If you think you may know what this means please post it up. Im very curious now!

I'm sure they made more than 6,000 S2000's in 2000. I believe it was something like 10,000 for the first model year.

 

I can see yours as the 5191st built, but the vin on my '00 S2000 ends in 8843 so the 6000 is bs.
