From Sep '99 to Aug 31 '00, Honda US sold 8265 S2000s. That's not exactly the same as MY00 sales though, since some of those were likely sold after the MY01 models were released in September 2000.

It was never a high volume seller like Civics or Accords. But consider this. How many other cars were sold in the US, basically unchanged, for ten years? (Volkswagon Beetle...maybe a one or two others.

Well, considering that supposedly Honda's initial plans for the car was 5000 per year in the US for one or two years... doing nearly twenty times that is pretty darn good. Also, the Honda president said in a speech once that the S2000 was profitable after only six months of sales.

These replys all make sense. Thanks to all that participated. I made a mistake in the original post though.... I didnt take out the title. I took out the owners manual and on the cover of that it said #5191 of 6000. I guess it doesnt matter where I got it but atleast now I have a better idea of what it means.

The third gen Integra ran from 1994 to 2001, which made it the longest run of any Integra version. That's still well short of a decade.

That leaves a fairly short list (1: The NSX).
