Speed Traps Unveiled
Here's a novel idea. Why don't you.... just NOT speed in areas you are not familiar with? Cops are always looking for out of state speeders...they are the easiest since they usually just pay the fine. If you are speeding in Virginia...good luck! Speed traps everywhere and they sometimes sit in new places (business driveways, side of the road after a guard rail, etc.)
Have none of you heard of trapster?
Trapster.com
It's in the form of an app for iphone/droid/bb etc... too. It layers something on top of your GPS that shows speed traps and red light cameras (DC people know how important that is). The locations are based on reports that you can view to see how many times it was reported, what time of day, etc... It even has audible alerts while your driving that say something like "red light camera approaching in less than 1 mile".
Very reliable since it has such as wide user base.
