thats really unessesary to say man. ppl like your are a scum on the forum and society, you didnt help him much. i know you might think, im like that but i changed. if you had said that on honda-tech forum you would harsh get banned.
didn't you just ream a guy out in another thread for crashing his car?... something like: "it's people like you who make insurance for our s2000s so expensive." FIRST OFF, you don't even own an s2000, therefore, do not pay for insurance on one. AND THEN, you post in this thread and attempt to defend a guy who thinks it's okay to drive 20 mph over the speed limit.

I find that 10 mph over the speed limit AND weaving in out of traffic will get a cop's attention just the same as the guy going 20 mph over the speed limit in the left lane.

All these people saying 20 miles over is too much without knowing what the posted speed limit was!!! Also, without knowing how rediculous enforcement can be in Wisconsin and MN.

Your car is a time machine, it can take time away or give you extra time during your life. Example, cutting 10 minutes off a one-way trek to work by letting the S do its job saves you:

20min per day
1hr 40min per week (assuming 5 day work week)
86hrs 40min per year
108.3 days over the next 30 years

When you are 80 (or age "X") and lie on your deathbed, please remember all the time that you pissed away by not speeding.

But, you were a good citizen and did your part as a people's warrior against the evil demon what is speed, something that most folks won't care about, and you certainly won't care about as you pray for just one more breath, one more chance to see a loved one, one more smell of a fresh morning, or the sound of the ocean, or a spouse's smile.

Live every single day to the max. It could be your last.

Bon Appetit.
umm........slow down or take the bus?

you are saying by driving fast you save a hypothetical 20 minutes a day,

what if your license got suspended, you end up with nothing

and it would probably take a lot longer to get to places than it originally did.

walk = less than 5mph

speed limit= at least >= 25mph

i think most of us rather be rightful citizens.

So, I was counting the posts that just told the OP to slow down, rather than answering the (very politely stated) question, which was pretty clearly about the legal ramifications of what he'd already done. Eventually, I just gave up the count. The first one was unnecessary and rude; after that, it was unnecessary, rude, and redundant.

Oh my god, I'm agreeing with 2heaty.

Be that as it may, I'm saying it anyway: when someone asks, clearly and politely, for help that relates to speeding but is not about whether he should speed, why don't y'all either answer the question posed, or shut the heck up? We know, we know, the general opinion on the board is that twenty over is too fast. Got it. Now, can anyone help him re Minnesota law?

2heaty: I know what you're trying to say, but maybe calling people scum didn't help get your point across.

Perhaps we were having some fun at his expense (and, even more, at the expense of 2HEATY). But you are conveniently forgetting the OP's second post, in which he seems to state that he usually doesn't go more than 20mph over the posted speed limit, and wonders why he has so much "bad luck."

He needs a good lawyer, and even then he's likely in some real trouble.

And he needs to slow down.
