Default speeding ticket what to do?

hey guys last weekend i was driving home on the highway it was midnight and i was just cruising mining my own business when all of a sudden i see police lights. then i thought to my self hah they cought some retard speeding but then i come to find out he is on my ass . he pulls me over and we go through the usual routine, id and registration blah blah you guys know the drill. he told me i was goin 84 in a 65 i honestly didnt feel like i was going that fast and there was little to no traffic at all. he wrote me up a ticket for 160$ the only unusual thing was that he didnt make me sign my ticket stating i recieved the ticket and understand why i am recieving the fine. i hav recieved enough fines to know that everytime you get a citation u have to sign it. so my Question is should i fight this?

If you never signed it, it never happened, right?

Just kidding. I would fight it. The fact that he didnt make you sign it might get it thrown out immediately.

In my county that ticket would be null and void. That said, you state that you didn't feel you were going that fast. You don't know how fast you were goig when you looked up and saw this guy in your mirror?? I am always aware of how fast I'm traveling. Just saying.

The S2000 has a big, glowing orange number in front of you as you drive... you can pretty much read it without even looking down at it.

Always fight tickets weather you think you are going to win or lose. Best case they throw it out. Worst case you get it but they always reduce it a lot. I got a running a red light ticket for $100 and they reduced it to $30. Also a speeding ticket that was $160 and reduced to $60. Another thing is that if there is anything wrong on the ticket they throw it out, even if they misspelled one letter in your name wrong.

Hrmm, does that mean if the cop wrote that my car was a Honda S200 then the ticket is no good?

Ticketclinic.com or the like.
It's not the amount of the ticket but it's the points that are applied to your license and how much that impacts your insurance.
