speedometer power problem
please help! i have 05 with 3000 miles. it has instrumental cluster that will not illuminate properly. speedometer will display irregular shaped numbers, broken lines will appear by the edge of orange lit portion. the dealer has replaced the lcd assy, cvr column, panel, and panel print to resolve this problem but no luck. CLICK HERE TO SEE THE PARTS. after second try, the dealer gave up. hence i called the honda corporation to file a case to resolve this problem. my question to my respectable s2k owners are:
1) anyone had similar problem?
2) could it be defective fuse sending lack of electricity to cluster?
3) could it be damaged electical line... if so which line needs to be replaced?
4) what does panel print switch do(refer to link on top)?
please help me. every time my car goes into the shop, something else comes out damged. such as steering wheel with leather scratched, scratched tint, dust inside the cluster, and pen marks on the steering wheel.

Look up your local Lemon Law in your state. In Florida, if the car has been in the shop more than 3 times for the same "significant" problem, you can have the car declared a lemon and get a new car or a full refund. The tricky thing is defining "significant." I would think that not being able to see how fast you are going is "significant." Its not like we have an analog speedo and the lights are just out. Talk to your Honda dealer about your local lemon law (disclosure is required at time of sale in most states). You should have a pamphlet on it somewhere in your paperwork.
Thanks
John
ps-My mom works for American Honda as one of their attorneys....apparently she has processed Lemon law paperwork for lesser problems. The dealer basically gets the car back, gives you a new one, then sends the broke car to American Honda to get rid of at auction (dirt cheap). She is processing a Lotus Esprit this week...FUN FUN FUN!!! What the car companies dont know will not hurt them.
Thanks
