Default Spelling "Moon Rock" vs "Moonrock"

I'm trying to work out the proper spelling for the colour known as Moon Rock metallic. I see officially it seems to be two words, but most people call it "Moonrock". Curious if anyone had any strong opinions on this? Additionally, I'm curious if people would say they have a "Moon Rock Metallic" S2K or a "Moon Rock" S2K (with the "metallic" just being a signifier it's a metallic paint).

Hope these questions make sense.
