I was just wondering how many of us have actually lost control in the S2000. IT seems like there is a new post every day where somone has lost control.

Hi

I guess we are talking about in traffic here, in my case I've never tried to totally loose control.

But if we talk about under closed conditions, where I've given the car much more beating then of cause I've lost control. Last winter it was snowing like hell one evening, so I went out to this huge parking lot with no lamp posts or other things to hit.

Here I tried to to both 180 and 360 turns with the handbrake, and of cause lost it totally most of the times. 5 inches of snow, 7000 rpm and S02's are really great for loosing control in such conditions

You need an "all of the above" option.

Assuming street driving, not track or other controlled environment (where you expect to spin on occassion in order to learn).

Also, the "corrected instantly" might be better as just "corrected". I lost the rear (in dry, but cold and due to oil/rubber buildup in combination with too aggressive a launch during a turn) and corrected, but I wouldn't call it instantly ... it was pretty ugly but I did catch it

I think one thing that might help get the numbers that we are most interested in is getting a tally of 'unexpected' overstear. Lots of people do it on purpose and my guess is that is not what this poll is meant to be designed for.
