Default Sponserships...

hey peeps, well, my question is has anyone been sponsered? I may have an oppurtunity to get sponsered by a well known company, but I am not sure if I have the time or extra money to do it. They are either looking for show car or track car, I am not sure which one would be better if I did decide to do it. Do you think it is worth it.? I have never got into this type of deal so I really don't know what it all entails and stuff. So any experienced peoples advice is welcomed . thanks

ya i was thinking the same thing, but if that were the case they would want me to race it every so often and i am not sure if I have the time for that and or skills. And that would be a lot of abuse to a daily driver... but i would love to do both.

Is this your daily driver?

Show car sponsorships = many shows and travel you would have to do to meet the sponsor requirements. Plus keeping the car emaculate or at least putting it through the white glove test before each show. Keeping up with the trailer queens on the show circuit will be a daunting task!

Track car I am not sure about. Does it mean they want to race it? if so, are they going to cover the wear and tear on the car (body parts, paint, new engines, parts, tires etc). Will still be street leagal after they convert it to track ready status?

Unless you have free time to commit to either I would not do it.
