They're not designed to stop you faster, but rather to dissipate heat quicker. They would be over kill for street use and a waste of money - but an advantage for racing and track days, especially if you vent them for additional cooling. Also, the cooler results of the vented Spoon rotors should eliminate the need for aluminum calipers unless it is solely a matter of saving unsprung weight.

How much do the Spoon rotors weigh relative to stock? Spoon, Mugen, and Endless brake pads seem all the same to me. They're all semi-metalic high temp pads, and they seem to cost about the same too. Anybody know the difference?

I was at my tuner shop a couple of days ago and got my hands on a pair of Wilwood calipers. Wow where those things light. anyone here have any comments on Wilwood products. I've inquired about a street caliper set and they mentioned they have them. they don't have a kit but i'm willing to do the legg work for R&D.ing a kit.

Any interests or comments?

Roll Cage is coming is two weeks and track events are lined up!!! My current porterfields work great but a big brake kit would yeild nicer track time.
