I saw the straight pipe which was not installed, so I think it did come with it rather than bought separately. From what I have heard from others, the Amuse might be louder. The forward canister of the Spoon is smaller and lighter than the Mugen's.

Nice thing about the straight pipe is that if the S2K is raced and with allowance, that pipe can be installed, and a Mugen ecu will not show check engine warning.

Looks SWEET
Sounds SWEET

But how much is it???????

also i had spoon wheels on my civic si i noticed better handling, quicker response, better acceleration, and a very intimidating look!!!!
some mods barely do one of those things much less all of them
that must tell you something about spoon and there knowledge towards cars

The Amuse exaust is bar none the lightest exaust available.
According to HyperRev Book,
It weighs 3.8 Kg = 8.4 pounds
Oppose to Stock 23 kg =50.7 pounds
Astounding 42.3 pounds difference!!
On the other hand the Spoon is 12kg=26 pounds
Quite light but still no way near Amuse's
Only few handful people got a pleasure of lifting it(installer and packer who helped me ship it) and hold it in and let me just say it is an eye opening experience. It really feels like the whole exaust is made out of paper or plastic.
$2000 may sound too extravagant but believe me you are getting something really special that may out live your current car's life time.

I cannot provide the dyno sheet because I misplaced it somewhere but I will try to locate it but it looked like unprofessionally simple plot that looks like five year old drew with a ruler.
But anyhow at the time of Amuse exaust and HKS Racing Header, my car belched out 214 HP.
With those two items gone only manage to get just barely 201 HP.
But the current state is much quicker due to the final gear ratio change up to 100 mph I believe.

Spoon looks really nice by the way, I would love to check it out in person.

randy: have you gotten your speedometer thing fixed yet? at the rate you're going, you're going to have all these mileage that didn't belong on the odometer in the first place with the gearing change.

Mingster, no fix as of yet.
I need some time to figure out how to approach it when I finally do have some time off from currently crazy work schedule.
I have something in back of my mind that somehow ECU and the Speedo reading is related, meaning Speedo may have some effect on the iginition time curve.
Soon after each final gear change, I remember how surprised the way my car accelerated, but with time it felt like my car slowed down just a tiny bit.
It is probably just me getting use to the change.
But anyway.....

Anyone used the twin version of this exhaust? Is it about the same noise and drone wise?

What's up w/ ressurecting 7 year old threads? Pictures arn't active anymore. Vids arn't active anymore. Worthless...At least start a new thread w/ this question!!!

P.S...Sorry if I came off a little "on the edge". I was wondering what the spoon single looked like but the pics showed nothing but red x's and then the vids wouldn't load. I was like WTF is up w/ this thread...Then I looked at the date and just had to "vent" because I actually wanted to see what the exhaust looked and sounded like after it was praised so much in the thread.
