Default Bad tire setup?

I just bought a 2003 bb s2k. Everything is stock and fine but the tires worry me.
Do you think this is a better or worse setup that oe?
fronts - kumho ASX
rears - fuzion HIR

I have already had the rear out so many times without response of the rears, good thing i corrected it everytime. Now it is raining, i am afraid to take it to the freeway for normal driving.

i had the rear come out on me the other day when it was raining, i think it was the first time driving the s2k in the rain after i swapped out to the eibach springs. a bunch of times i'm trying to break 'em loose on dry tarmac but the unexpected slide caught me off guard, luckily for me i input the right corrections and didn't get a scratch. i really would like to get some drifting practice in somewhere to really hone my rwd skills.

I had a similar situation with my NFR 03'. I originally had Bridgestone 960s on all 4 corners. One of my rear tires had some sidewall damage due to my own stupidity when exiting my apt complex. Anyway, I called everywhere looking for 960s but they were on back order. I ended up ordering 2 Goodyear F1 All Season tires for the time being. I gotta say, the tires themselves arent bad. But after driving on them for about 500 miles in 2 months, I have to say that having mismatched tires can throw off the feel of the car. Going over bumps on the road just do not feel the same. I haven't attempted to go on the track or anything, but on a normal road its very easy to feel that something is different. Different tire compounds and different sidewall stiffness all seems to make the car feel unbalanced. I've checked the tire pressure and its the exact same. I'm planning to order two more new rear tires so that they will match with the front whenever they are in stock. Just my 2 cents.
