ya sorry i wasn't more clear. i dont know i would believe 260rwhp on a na s2k. more like 230rwhp at the most. sc on 5lbs boost make 280-290rwhp.

remember the spoon s2k racer is fast because of balance, control and weight reduction, its not pushing that much more hp than a stock car. thats what makes it such an amazing race car, its mostly stock and it still kicks ass on the track against much more powerful cars!

you asked for sites, sorry i tend to get off topic...

inlinefour.com is spoon importer, or opakracing.com, or spoon.com(jap site).

good luck, send pics when done!

Wow! All that money only to discover you can't shake some poor boy who put in a thousand bucks worth of "gears".
I hear that the "Silver Spoon" is a great mod.

For the money, just buy I/H/E/testpipe/VAFC/Cams... That'd be a lost less money than a Spoon engine, and about the same hp. With the Spoon engine, you'd still need to buy I/H/E etc, haha.
As for buying your engine - I am sure people still will. An engine that is worked a little is better off than an engine that is never worked. As long as it was broken in properly, I wouldn't be afraid of an 05 engine belonging to a guy that enjoyed some local hills...
As everyone else said, no matter how you slice it and dice it, FI is better for the $. But Spoon Engine = Pimp Factor.

Haha! Good one. I'll offer a couple hundred bucks. I might be able to strip off the alternator and use it.

It doesn't sound like he just works it a "little". He'll end up selling it to some poor schmuck only to have the guy discover a few weeks or months later, the valve retainers have all cracked. Oops! We're talking "alternate reality" here.

well u would be wrong i broke it in really good in my eyes cuz ive raced 04's and down and other then just a intake and exhaust i win all the time

Driver also matters and i think im good at that, but gota give props to my engine i broke it in very good in my eyes. once i even handed a 02 with i/h/e with someone in my car and him being alone. ON TAPE lol.

Also today i talked to my friend Ty who has a very nice s2k, dont really want to say what hes got, but i got owned. He told me I/h/e 4.57 and a chip id be runing as fast as a spoon, so its startin to click that spoon is overrated, BUT I STILL LOVE IT AND ITS A Option
