Spoon Complete Engine Assembly
This probably means stroked, high compression, etc.

J's time attack car supposedly makes just over 310bhp which should put it around 275whp.

there is a hair on the front of that cover.

that was bugging me, because I kept wanting to get rid of it.

first I thought it was on the screen. lol

i like the fenders and the front bumper is money.

yea seriously do you idiots not see the VERY FIRST ENGINE MOD....COMPLETE ENGINE ASSEMBLY?>!?!?@!#>!@#%$@#%

my god you blind idiots....

wtf you think a COMPLETE engine spoon style would be? that engine alone prob costed around 10-15k, its probably fully stroked, bored, higher compression...wtf isn't the RSR drift car running a 2.4L f20C thats making around 250whp????

atleast someone from my local forum can point out how it could achieve that much power when everyone is calling BS...and seriously spec ops...the post about the j's racing bolt on guy....THOSE ARE BOLT ON'S NOT A COMPLETE ENGINE REPLACEMENT@#$%@#$%

damn...my view of people's general intelligence just went down...

You can purchase a "complete engine assembly" last I checked from spoon. Its basically blueprinted / balanced and a little higher compression. Nothing to achieve 75rwhp or even close to it.

dood...you think a RACE TEAM...is gonna use the spoon engine assembly they sell you?..its almost like the mobil one claim...well race teams use it...DO YOU HONESTLY THINK THE MOBIL ONE YOU BUY IN THE STORE IS THE SAME OIL THAT NASCAR RACE TEAMS GET FROM MOBIL????omfg no....and your a freaking idiot if you believe that.

so what do you think...you think someone like SPOON which is a HUGE race company wouldn't go further with the block to bore it and stroke it? i respect you spec ops because you post in my local forum but i really think your not thinking outside the box. 275whp NA is attainable...inline pro's done it...j's racing did it...what makes you think that spoon...who is a MAJOR JDM race team...wouldn't be able to do the same? and also this is a demo car...it has a widebody kit...awsome wheels. spoon hardtop....why would they stop there and not completely redo the engine? i mean shit its a RACE CAR not a SHOW CAR...sigh...

Its probably crank horsepower.

There was a guy with full J's bolt ons and he barley gained 15rwhp (around 215rwhp). How the hell could spoon get another 60rwhp?!

Only F20C engine I've seen actual dyno graphs for is the inlinepro 2.7 liter or whatever it was making 265 (or was it 275) rwhp.
That was the 2.5L on 13:1 compression, T1R 63, and EMS that made 263whp...main limiting factor being cams.

The 2.7L isn't built yet.

I see what your saying and I will agree that my comments arnt really thinking outside the box .

However, (in school to become an engineer) I don't believe much of anything unless I see proof. I have never once seen a dyno on the spoon or J's racing car to give any facts that they are 250+rwhp cars.

InlinePro has done a dyno of there stroker build, so I believe it . But again, I have never seen a J's Racing or a Spoon engine on the dyno.

You would think, being a supreme JDM racing company with all the money they have, they would actually dyno their engine for magazines and what not to show off their engineering skills. Because they havn't (and probably won't), it leads me to doubt all of their claims.

If your from company XXX and made a header that was dyno proven to gain +30hp all throughout the band, why wouldn't you release it to the public unless (which is probably the case) it's just a bunch of marketing with no actual proof behind it

See my point now? (I'm not arguing btw, just showing you how I see it)
