I have a Spoon snorkel want to replace my 02 front end with the 04....will my snorkel still fit?

Full length version: Not speaking from experience, but I've read numerous posts of 04 owners having difficulty making it fit. I think it can be done, but with some elbow grease.

Elbow brease as in cutting the front end (lower part) to clear an obstacle in the 2004 - I am still not sure where it hit, probably part of the 2004's stiffening program, but I had to remove about 1" of meat with a hacksaw, then file, sand, wet sand, and then clear coat.

 

but was that portion cut out of the actual car itself or out of the bumper cover? I am retrofiting the 04 bumper so I am hoping that i do not encounter this problem

I'm pretty sure it fits.

It takes some elbow grease to put the snorkel in a MY04 because an extra brace in front of the car is in the way. Since your car isn't a '04, I don't think you will run into any problems.
