$1400 doesn't seem like much for a forged crank, rods, and pistons in a stroker kit, especially from Spoon. How is this stroker kit making so much more power than the F22 though?

it makes 30 hp more, but also revs 600-700 rpm more, but other factor should be taken into consideration apart of higher rev limit

aftermarket kits are also rated very liberally.

take a look at car and driver's supercar challenge for proof. You see cars rated at 400HP and up not even matching the times of a stock S2K.

my guess is that if it is near 275hp then maybe the motor had other spoon parts in it, and it was also rated at the flywheel. In that case, I'm just about there already with my small array of parts. As at 225whp it is about 270bhp

but either way, that does seem tempting at such a low price. Main draw back is cams however, only company that really makes them is Toda, and you need other Toda parts to use them

toda cams does not make more power than stock, and you can use other stroker kits with toda cams just need to check clerance.
