toda spec C cams do make more power I've spoken to TODA USA about sponsorships. The Spec C's they claim have shown 17hp gained on a customer car. This may be with headwork as well, this may be FI, I don't know the details. But the Spec C's greatly increase lift and duration. The Spec A is pretty mild, and the Spec B is in between.

These are not the VTEC killer camshafts which have shown nothing. The reason we have seen nothing in the States is because there hasn't been any interest in the cams. This is why Toda doesn't want to give out cams for US testing, there is no interest as there is.

But yes, you are right about clearances...its just I doubt other pistons would have the gap necessary to clear Toda cams right now.
