I have a few questions about the Spoon throttle body:

1.) Does the throttle body offer a noticable increase over stock acceleration?
2.) What about horsepower?
3.) What about torque?
4.) Does it hinder performance in any arena (e.g. top speed, etc)?
5.) How hard is it to install yourself?
6.) How much does it cost total (with core charge)?
7.) How much does it cost after the core charge is refunded?
8.) Will they do a core exchange for a US market S2000 instead of a Japanese market S2000?

I would really appreciate answers to this question. My S2000 is all stock, but I want to start with some meaningful modifications. Please advise. Thanks!

I think you will be hard pressed to find somebody here with a Spoon TB. I can speak to the P-flow TB but no hard dyno numbers. Sorry!

To answer the questions:
1. Yes in the mid range. 3,500-7,000 rpms.
2. We all figure 6hp
3. Same as 2.
4. Not in any way(even idle is perfect)
5. Did mine in about a half hour!
6. P-flow was 140ish with shipping(send back your TB)
7. ----
8. You cant return your US TB to Spoon.

The only other really meaningful mod to the engine is to do Mugen headers or if your really well endowed in the wallet a Super Charger!
