Default Spoon vs. T1R

I've narrowed it down to one of the following for exhaust choice:
Spoon N1
T1R 70mm
1. I've only heard a small clip of the Spoon, so any sound clips of either would be greatly appreciated.
2. I know all exhaust produce minimal gains, but is there any difference in gains from these two?
3. And finally, what are the weights of the two?
Thanks in advance.

dont know about the spoon, but a guy i know has the T1R, and the car drones so bad that you get a headache after riding in it for an extensive period of time. i'd assume that the spoon will be similar given that it is also a single exhaust. i guess it's just your preference when it boils down.

The T1R hardly drones. It's only in the 3-4k range and it's not even bad. You just have to find the right speed and it's silent while cruising. The exhaust sounds amazing, by far the best 4 cylinder exhaust I've heard. It makes nice power too.

The Spoon drones...very bad at almost every RPM range. But you can deal with it since I've been driving mine daily for 3 years with the exhaust. There are those time where I find it a bit annoying on long drives.

Also...the Spoon exhaust looks ugly as hell!

I love my T1R, I get compliments on the sound at WOT all the time. Of course, any free flowing exhaust on an inline 4 will be a bit raspy at lower RPMS.

IMO i would go with the T1R. I think you get more gains from it as well.

I had the T1R and my neighbour has the Spoon right now.

With all the respect to Spoon, that exhaust looks and sound terrible.
The T1R is the best bang for the buck.PERIOD
Sound insane but far from ricey and has the best DYNO proven gains. COmes with a test pipe and that exhaust will rock your world

the 70mm T1R is wider than the spoon (60mm)
i don't think the s2000 needs more than 60mm piping (if N/A) i have the 63mm T1R, best gains, sound, the look is good
u'll get the test pipe with it,,, cheaper than the spoon

go T1R `
