Default Spoon X Brace

I noticed many people here have the Spoon X-Brace. Can soemone tell me what exactly this is and that does it do. Evolution Autosports has it on sale for like 220. Is this a good first mod???

Here's a pretty informative thread on x braces:

I was thinking about a x brace is my first performance mod too. It's seems so simple that it's almost impossible to have anything go wrong.

I for one noticed an improvement with it on. It just makes the car feel better all around. The driving, handling, steering have more of a direct connect effect. I would highly recommend it if you are into auto-crosses or any track events. For me, it was the best "bang-for-the-buck" upgrade so far.
