I was washing my S2000 and pulled it in the garage when finishing up. Was cleaning the glass and wanted to clean the headlights also. I had them turned on and went to wipe them down, and it looks like there is dust/spots on the inside of the headlight cover. They wouldn't wipe off with a damp rag, so It leads me to believe they are on the inside of the covers.

Does anyone else's headlight covers look like this? Is it normal? Could it be dust on the concave lens of the light housing and its projecting onto the headlight covers?

Looks like nicks to me. My last S had the same thing...evidence of the junk all over our roads.

Welcome to the wonderful world of pitting!

Try Plexus, maybe?

That's normal. It's from all of the road debris. Some of it will be small chips in the plastic, but the rest should be removable. You need to go to an auto parts store and buy "Clay Magic". You will also need some tpye of spray wax or instant detailer wax to lubricate the clay. This should get the debris out at least.
