Whats the record on number of spring spacers found on an s2K? I knew about the issue for some time, but kept putting off checking...I checked today...14 total rubber spacers. Wow. 6 on one spring. I suspect there were more as some were already beginning to fall of by themselves.

Its not just a Honda thing either- my Camry still had the spacers in it too...and they were substantialy larger and more solid. I think my wife liked the way the Camry handled with the spacers still on it

There is supposed to be 14 total although some people say they have found more. I think the dealer left five in my car.

 

How do you tell if the spring spacers are still in? Do you need to jack up the car or anything? What should I look for?

 

All this talk has got me paranoid...when I took delivery, my dealer showed me the spring spacers, but I didn't count them, and now I'm wondering if they got them all...could I possibly check without jacking the car up?
