I lurked on the boards for 6 months before I bought my 1st S2000 in 2003 and learned as much as possible

That was the 1st thing I checked during the intro from the salesman and also when I picked up my 2008

I'd BBQ the dealership service managers ass that PDI those cars for sure

I can't imagine how different the car would feel under high cornering loads with that crap in there. Glad they are out for the Dragon!

On my last car, I bought some Enkei RP01's and had them installed at a local shop. When I get the car back, they tell me everything is fine but they cant seem to balance out vibration in the front at hwy speeds and they have no idea why. I continue to drive with this condtion for 3 years, frequently taking it to different tire shops and the dealer having tires swithced out and inspected for seperated cords, buying new tires, getting sent to different places with different balance machines, etc. I finaly called the place I ordered them from and told them I must have defective wheels.

It turns out they only included 2 hubcentric rings with the wheels, and the shop that put them on and every other shop around here didn't even know what they were. I suffered 3 years with annoiying vibration above 70mph because of some 20 cent metal rings lol.

Interesting picture - never knew what the spacers looked like. I have a few screwed-in-place titanium spacers in my lumbar spine, courtesy of a neurosurgeon. The resemblance is remarkable. I can only imagine what the effect of those spring spacers is upon riding quality.

This thread made me go and check my cars suspension out...All clear.

It probably helped that my car is on jackstands at the moment while waiting for the wheels to be powdercoated at the shop and the tires are to the side of the car.

Andy, I was gonna say something about those when I saw them at WTD last spring but I didn't want to embarass you. Besides you were already faster than me. I didn't want to further embarass me either.
