Default Spring time!

Just wanted to see who is excited to finally be done with this wicked winter and look forward to some hot days with the top down and music up? I can't wait to be able to go outside again without having to wear my snowsuit everytime I go out.
Hurry up Spring!!!

I posted on this subject in the Pacific NW forum, but can't resist gloating here. The weather in Seattle has been great!

I missed top-down driving for too many sunny days, because my hardtop was still on. Yesterday I took it off. It was a snap because of the neat hoist I had made in my garage. Ball-bearing blocks make it an easy one-man job.

That first top-down cruise was soooo nice!

I am impressed. That is a neat set up. Great job! If you leave it like that in your garage, wil it any way damage your rubber seals on the hard top? Or do you have something to prevent that from happening?

Winter? WTF is that? Nothing but 60s and 70s here in texas for the next few weeks. All in all it has been a mild winter here - low temps haven't dipped below 32 degrees since 1/23

low 40's and chance of snow the rest of this week. I miss Texas weather, I lived there for a few years.

The seals aren't really involved. The rear clips fit underneath the window, just outside of the seals. The front hooks reach in far enough to lift on the liner inboard of the seals. I padded the hooks with corrugated cardboard to avoid impressions on the liner.
