Default Spugen Exhaust Questions

Those of you who have Spugen exhausts, how loud is it in person? I like the single oval muffler with round tip, but i want to know if it's going to drive me crazy. I've heard the SS/Ti is very loud, i'm hoping the others arent...

I have the Dual Oval w/ round tips. Sounds great and not loud at all, no droning.
I have not heard a single exhaust that was not loud!

i have the oval/ round tip single. the drone is tolerable & the sound is probably on the low end of the db meter compared to the rest of the single exhausts.

I love my Spugen Dual Oval

Very deep, slight drone around 3.5k -- kinda tames down at high high RPM's - but still sounds excellent.

Haven't found one person who doesn't love the sound!

I have the dual ti (ti canisters only) with a T1R testpipe and love it, I got a little drone when i put the testpipe on but its very bareable. Anything past 6k and it reminds me of a crotch rocket.

i drive the dual ovals...
i like it and would never change back, but it does set off car alarms any time i roll through a parking lot!
and my wife puts in ear plugs when she rides with me-
i think shes a bit sensitive!!

you can soften the sound if you leave the stock resonator (cant remember for sure what its called) and just replace the mufflers and pipes.
