When the top is up at least I notice it, when doing normal driving or pushing back against the seat there is a loud squeak like something is rubbing but i can't figure it out. Happens with both driver and passenger side with seatbelts on. any ideas?

yea me too my seat belt rubs against the seat and makes a squeaking noise. make sure ur seats arent rubbing their backside too.

 

Geez you guys. Don't you read the FAQ's or use the SEARCH?

HINT: This is one of the most common issues with the S2000 and can be fixed easily for about $0.10.

Two words for you: Velcro felt.

 

Or, if you read the owner's manual, some soapy water.

I have the same problem but on the passenger side but noone is in it

I don't think its seatbelt, I think its seats on roll hoops.

 

that's what mine is. having to have my seat all the way back means i get the squeaks from the seat back rubbing against the plastic behind it.
