Default Squeaking sound from the front?

Hi all

I've been seeing quite a few threads recently about hearing some squeeks coming from the front. I've also encountered this problem. It really was annoying and embarassing. Well today I went down to have Darin align my car and I asked him if he could diagnose and solve the problem. After some time he managed to figure out that the sound was caused by a loose crossmember bolt in the front. He tightened the 4 bolts and I haven't heard the sound since, but not after he had lubed up a bunch of parts down there

After driving 450 miles today back home, I heard some squeeking too. It sounds like it's coming from the soft top bars. I then heard something metal drop behind me after I started it up and went into reverse the next day. None of my personal items fell, so I don't know wtf it was.

check if your crossmember is still there

But it could be your crossmember since the bolts could have rattled loose. And when you backed up, did it sound like a big "clunk"? Like a pop almost.
