Default SRS Check Air Bag Light

Hey guys,

Just installed the HU on my S and while doing it, I had to push kind of hard the HU in there to make it fit. After tighting the 4 screws, everything seem ok...

Well, I turn the engine on and there was SRS Check Air Bag Light and I was starting to freaking out since I did saw SRS module while installing HU... The light stayed on...

However, when I turn the engine off and restarted the engine, the light went away and it's fine ever since...

Anyways, do you think there may be a chance that I have damaged the module in there? What could possibly be happened for system to show the warning lights?

Any inputs will sincerely be appreciated...

The same exact thing just happened to me. I installed an alpine x305 and when I first started it up the airbag light came on. I drove it around a little bit to see if it would go out, then at a red light I turned it off and started her back up again and the light went out. It's been fine ever since. I was thinking I broke a wire or something when I pushed the stereo back in.
