srs light...

Default srs light...

red srs light came on. I think it has to do with my airbags, but not sure. SHould I be worried?

wow that sucks... Car is way out of warranty though. Is this something they will still cover?

I wouldnt freak out about just yet. See what they say. I've seen seat belt buckles cause Air Bag lights to come on. I have no idea bout the S but some vehicle have the seat belts wired into the airbag. Its a relatively cheap fix if its something like that.

no, I havnt done anything yet... I'm at work right now and noticed on my lunch break. So I'm trying to get ideas of what I will need to do... Thanks for all the help so far ... Keep it coming

i think there is a way to pull a code from the SRS system, just like pulling a CEL code. i know how to do it on a civic and integra, but not on the S2000. find someone with a Helms, it would most likely help a good bit with finding out what the problem is.

I think in Calif SRS systems are warranted for life of vehicle. Check your warranty papers and/or call a dealership.

Usually SRS systems are designed to be serviced after 10 years. If your light is on this soon, you may be able to get Honda to look into it for free. Are there any accidents on your S?
