St. Thomas USVI - S2K!!
While on vacation - a bittersweet reminder of home. In a land where the maximum speed possible is 45MPH, the typical car is a shell shocked/dented Chevy Tracker, and you drive on the left - go figure. Has anyone else seen this car ?? Can the owner of this car - chime in. I can't imagine what your other car is. Probably a Viper.
I was on vacation sailing around the BVI about a month ago and saw a nice Supra (most recent model) on Tortola. Shocked me seeing this since the same things apply on Tortola as the USVI (no area to go fast, driving on wrong left side of the road even though driver position is on the left, Trackers and Sidekicks everywhere).
OMG BVIs RULE!!!! I was there 2 years ago for about 12 days. Sailing from island to island. Snorkeling, drinking, snorkeling, drinking, eating, drinking, getting laid, drinking, sleep, start over. What a beautiful place. Why have a nice car there? Like you said, no place to drive fast and why go fast in such a gorgeous spot on earth?
