Stabilizing bar broke
Well, was it the stabilizer bar (anti-roll bar or sway bar) or the strut tower brace?
If it's the former, he must've clipped a curb or something. Suspension pieces are designed to crumple catastrophically under severe impact, to prevent frame damage. The suspension pieces act like a cushion. But I wonder why the wishbones (or tie-rods) did not fail...
If it's the latter, either it was installed incorrectly or it was just a shitty piece.
