I did a search and did not find anything... What are the best brake lines out there? Are the comptech ones any good? Any one have them or reccommend any others? Thanks

I've been using the ones from the S2KI Marketplace on my car for several months now, including 5 hard track days. They perform as expected, were easy to install and I haven't given them a second thought since they went in.

I have the Goodridge units in my car. They've been TUV tested by Germany which was vital to being street legal here.

Absolutely zero difference on the street (not even bling as you can barely see them), great stuff on the track.

Does it make a good big difference in braking with S.S. brake lines compared to stock brake lines? If so, how?

The stainless lines sold by Comptech are Goodridge. (I agree w/Truedrezzer, virtually no difference in everyday driving.)

when you press on the brake, fluid is pressurized in the brake line, which causes the piston in the caliper to compress. OEM rubber hoses will expand under this pressure and diminish the force applied. With a SS, the line is unable expand, so you should be able to brake harder with less force.

As mentioned above, shouldn't be too noticeable, if at all, on the street unless you drive like a maniac..

IMO they are a waste even for HPDEr's.

But if they'll make you feel better, get them
